GWFCapital Holdings business was launched with the intention of investing private capital, managed capital, and debt based

funds into qualified startups, emerging growth and middle-market companies across a spectrum of industries nationally as well

as in select international markets.

 

Since its inception GWF has invested or arranged funding in the amount of over 150M in equity capital in private equity

investment funds/vehicles on behalf of many of the largest pension funds, university endowments and foundations, in addition

to emerging growth and middle-market business enterprises. GWF takes an “asset-based” approach to private equity

investing and invests across a broad range of industries dominated by tangible physical and financial assets that we believe

provide downside protection and stable cash f lows. Industries in which we recently have been significant investors include

transportation and infrastructure, financial services (particularly loan servicing and consumer finance) , technology, healthcare, 

and senior living.

 

We focus primarily on control-oriented investments in cash flow generating, asset-based businesses primarily in North America

and Western Europe. Our interests are in seeking to invest in companies and portfolios with valuable, often unique assets that

in our view can benefit over time from high barriers to entry, strong, stable cash flows and attractive fundamentals.

 

We look at each company’s financial performance, industry position, management quality and long-term business plans to

determine which companies have the best chance of increasing in value over the long term.

Private Equity activity at GWF encompasses the following:

We look for projects or companies that exhibit the following

  •    Stable or growing revenues

  •    Significant free cash flow

  •    Operating flexibility

  •    Sufficient equity

  •    Appropriate capitalization

  •    Excellent, incentivized management
